About Us |
 CHiPs has been serving Marlboro and the surrounding communities with distinction and elegance since 1998. But our experience goes back much further than that.
Born and raised in London, England, our owner Onita Maison-Luisi was trained at the Prestigious London College of Beauty Therapy. After moving to the United States, Onita received further specialized training at Dudley's Cosmetology University in North Carolina. She has also trained with the Wella International Network, where she acquired extensive expertise in hair coloring techniques. Upon completion of her training, Onita embarked on her career as a genuine hair care professional, with 16 years of experience working in the finest salons before opening CHiPs. Onita has been specializing in the art of straightening hair for over 20 years and is a certified Deva Curl specialist. She is also an educator for Paul Mitchell. Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, Onita brings her drive and standard of excellence to her Salon, where she instills these values in her staff. Our stylists are Board Certified in New Jersey, and all products and tools used are actually supplied by CHiPs. Every staff member must attend regular at least 3 ongoing seminars and events such as the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javits Center annually; The Atlantic City Hair Expo, and New Jersey Beauty Festival. |

Our Products:
When it comes to the products used and sold in our salon, we prefer to use natural skin care and beauty products, as well as hair care products that are world-renowned with an excellent reputation to back them up. However, if a new product comes to market that absolutely impresses us, we will give that product an opportunity. |
